May Meet Up

PapaTodd has arranged a great meetup for us in Tucson with Arizona State Senator Frank Antenori.

It would be great if we could have a good turnout, not just Tucson peeps, but Phoenix folks, as well. Those of you in the east valley are halfway there already

Thunder Canyon Brewery is mere moments off of I-10 and we even get our own meeting room (not sure if that means we’re special, or they think we may be troublemakers )

On the way to Tucson there is a small town with a big personality – Eloy. The personality comes from it’s first-rate drop zone, Skydive Arizona, whose facilities are larger and more plush than most any other parachuting set-up in the USA (probably in the world, but I’ll just stick with what I know) I am tempted to see if I can set up another tandem jump on my way down and still get to the restaurant on time. What to do, what to do…..

UPDATE: D just looked up the rates at Skydive AZ – prices have gone higher than the airplanes they use. Ouch. No skydive for me.
