Fixing A Broken Cabinet

Posted on | September 24, 2012 | Comments Off on Fixing A Broken Cabinet

One of the clearest marks of an effective leader is an ability to assemble a winning team.  With President Obama, we have clearly seen he has little interest in finding the best person for the job, instead settling for corrupt, incompetent Secretaries – more for what they can do (or had done) for him than what they could do for the country. Michelle Malkin filled a best-seller with examples more than 2 years ago, imagine how many more stories could be told today.

Obama’s cabinet currently correct me if I have any wrong

  • Secretary of State: Hillary Clinton
  • Secretary of the Treasury: Timothy Geithner
  • Secretary of Defense: Leon Panetta
  • Attorney General: Eric Holder
  • Secretary of the Interior: Ken Salazar
  • Secretary of Agriculture: Tom Vilsack
  • Secretary of Commerce: Rebecca Blank
  • Secretary of Labor: Hilda Solis
  • Secretary of Health and Human Services: Kathleen Sebelius
  • Secretary of Housing and Urban Development: Shaun Donovan
  • Secretary of Transportation: Ray LaHood
  • Secretary of Energy: Steven Chu
  • Secretary of Education: Arne Duncan
  • Secretary of Veterans Affairs: Eric Shinseki
  • Secretary of Homeland Security: Janet Napolitano

At least the Cabinet Secretaries are somewhat accountable and require Senate confirmation.  Consider also the bucket load of Czars Obama has appointed; un-elected, un-vetted, un-accountable.

Mitt Romney has shown through his long business history an ability to hire people who can get the job done. Should he win this election, who do you think might end up in his Cabinet?

Here is the list, feel free to copy & paste into you comment (or blog if you want to write about it at your place)
