Remember that scene in Elizabeth, where Walsingham ‘detains’ the bishops he suspects will vote the wrong way – thus ensuring the queen wins her argument before the council?

Not sure why I thought of that in the midst of the ObamaCare debate….

(I wonder if there is a basement under the Capital building where possible “Yes” votes might find themselves passing the time? 😉 Who is our Walsingham? )

Barack Obama as well as all his liberal cronies really should be ashamed of themselves. This is certainly an absolute outrage. I seemed to be under the idea that when the president will take office he is obligated to declare an oath that will uphold as well as protect the constitution of the us. Nowhere within the Constitution does it grant the federal government the authority to enact or impose legislation such as the health care reform bill. It’s my opinion that these power mongers might be in for a real surprise come November. Great job regarding decline of your political future.
