Came across this paragraph on a featured layout in Digital Scrapbooking magazine:
Life can be crazy sometimes. You can learn a lot or close your mind and not let any of life’s lessons seep in. Surround yourself with people you love and with positive thoughts and that will take you far. Always say thank you and you’re welcome. Smile often and big and don’t be afraid to pass out compliments.
Just hit me right tonight.
And also reminded me I haven’t been doing enough digital scrapbooking 😉

The more one examines these “forward-looking” schools of thought, the more one is convinced that at bottom they rest on nothing but ignorance proclaiming itself infallible and demanding despotic power in the name of this infallibility.

Just watched season 3 of Dexter. She is being recruited by IAB to spy on a new officer, and she keeps refusing. At one point the IAB officer suggests she needs more in her life, perhaps even scrapbooking, which just gets Deb more pissed off.
Later, while arresting some random dirt bag, she screams “I’m not going to do any scrapbooking!” Heh.
