Not going into the back story of the election in Wisconsin; if you don’t know the story, you probably don’t care enough to read my explanation.

At this point it appears Prosser will, in fact, win – by a margin that avoids an automatic recount. Kloppenburg may very well call for a recount, but it will be on her dime. Things may change again, of course, so I am not celebrating just yet. Not counting our chickens…

However, I certainly hope Prosser holds his lead – because he is the best person for the job.

Also, because it is a bulwark vote.

Also, because Kloppenburg was so quick to make her victory speech. A lead of 204 votes in an election that saw something in the neighborhood of 1.5 million votes cast is ridiculously premature. Should it turn out she was as wrong as it now appears, she should be mocked & mocked hard.
