What’s Worse Than The Smell of Wet Dog?

Today was washing the dogs day, something they both enjoy (OK neither of them is particularly fond of the process, but they needed it anyway) I discovered Aromacare products recently at Ryan’s Pet Supply; terrific lather, quick & easy rinse. We’ve been using the Citrus Flea Defense, which has a yummy, woodsy/citrusy scent. On my last trip I saw the Brightening Juniper which seemed perfect for their multi-colored coats.

I started with Tango, because he is harder to get in the tub, though once he gets in he just sits there calmly. Cash is more cooperative going in, he’ll even climb right in the tub, but he wiggles and fidgets until we’re done.

Unfortunately, as I began lathering Tango up I realized that the gorgeous, blue Juniper shampoo smells like….hippies & incense. Just the odor you don’t want layered on top of wet dog, trust me.

So the dogs are clean – and bright – but they aren’t fresh
