Going Green

..well, sort of.

(WARNING: This post is about poop. Seriously, disposal of dog poop)

It has always struck me as wrong to take something so incredibly biodegradable and put it into a plastic bag before sending it off to the dump. A doggy septic system seems like the perfect solution, and do-it-yourself directions are easy to find.

Questions: Has anyone ever used one of these? Do they actually work? Would the fact that Phoenix is so completely dry interfere with the smooth operation?
