Crud

OK, the weather is beautiful here 300 days of the year – I am not complaining. However, the recent rains we experienced (that we really needed) have left us another problem. Potentially contaminated water.
It doesn’t help that two of our treatment plants were already down for maintenance. I completely forgot the alert yesterday and showered (long and hot), did laundry, drinking tap water…. duh!

No Water For You!
Boy oh boy this is lovely. Phoenix can’t drink their water right now. I’m soooo glad I am just outside of Phoenix and live in Peoria. It seems that Vox has already poisoned herself though. Ahh well, just think of…

Do you think it’s safe on base? If not then I’m a goner. I soaked in the tub THEN took a shower.
Thank god I don’t drink the crap.

You should be fine out there – they say the west side is clear.
SG and his son live out there…I bet they’re all nice and clean – and hydrated.

I know a bit about this type of thing and I know they are just being cautious. If they’d have found contaminants it would have been even bigger news. For now it’s just dirt and overload on the filters. Though they’ve scared the crap out of people who don’t fully understand the system. On a side note I love living in Peoria, mmmm tasty tap water!!

Wickld is right, it’s just a wee bit of dirt. If it was totally bad/dangerous I would imagine they would be handing out bottled water big time and going door to door and all that. It’s only Phoenix and parts of Paradise Valley Rach.
Peoria water is indeed tasty Wickld!
