Does This Stuff Work on Terrorists?

Posted on | December 31, 2005 | 3 Comments

I followed Macker’s lead and went through the registration process (you didn’t warn us about that) to see who this site thinks I look like, using their Face Recognition Engine…..

My mother, who I have spent my whole life being told I look “just like” rated

My sister:

  • Halle Berry (62%)
    and…

  • Steve McQueen (55%) ?

TCHOTP:

  • Fidtjof Nansen (50%)
  • Pierce Brosnan (42%)
    and…

  • Annette Benning (39%)

I tried a picture of Santa, but they couldn’t find any matches.
They obviously have a few bugs to work out šŸ˜‰

Oh, thanks very much, Voxie. I get Steven Soderbergh at 58%. On the plus side, David Beckham is at 51%. But Benoit Mandelbrot at 47% and the freakin’ Dalai Lama at 44% is not very comforting.

Ha! When I use the photoshopped headshot from my blog, I do much better. Barack Obama at 65%, the lovely Andie MacDowell at 56%, and Johannes Brahms at 53. I could do without Bertrans Russell at 61, though.

My bad. I wasn’t warned either but that’s fixed now.
