Big Surprise

From ArcaMax news:

TRANSGENDER TEENS ARRESTED

Six students from the New York City school designated for homosexuals and transgender students have been arrested for allegedly turning tricks and stealing.

The New York Post reports exclusively that some of the teens allegedly earned up to $600 a night for masquerading as police.

Investigators say the teens pretended to be police officers and allegedly posed as prostitutes. They asked for money in exchange for releasing their customers without being charged.

The teenage-boys-turned girls skipped class, slept through some and intimidated students who didn't dress to their standards, some students at the Harvey Milk High School tell the Post.

Good thing they have their own school where they can thrive in a nurturing environment, free from bullying and other stresses they are subjected to in public schools.

This post ranks high on snarky factor but low in valid argument. If a Mother started home schooling her child and then six months later the kid robbed someone would that reflect all home schoolers? Of course not.

Further more if your are conservative and believe in school choice then you should support it because it gives greater choices to those kids.

Frankly I don't know if the school will be helpful or not for them and I really don't care. But I willing to get the government out of people's own business.

That is sort of my point, in a round about way. The same behavior would happen in an all orientation school or a homosexual/transgender school. What NY has done is spend several million dollars to segregate a group a students ~ and simply moved the problems.

I think it is absurd to separate a group based on sexual preference, particularly at an age when sexuality should just be emerging.

I also believe that by moving students who feel a different orientation you miss an opportunity for the rest of the student body to learn that having a different sexual preference doesn't make a person bad, the opportunity to learn that there may be many other things they have in common, to learn that you deal with many types of people in your life. The homosexual/transgender students miss learning how to cope in the "real world" and developing self-acceptance ~ after all, they were moved to another school because they were different, so they could be safe.

A poor idea, poorly executed, with some obvious results.
