Happy - 23

My step-father is in the Phoenix Symphony and also teaches private lessons. Most of his students (tuba) aren't complete beginners, but they aren't virtuosos, either. Since his music studio is in the same building as our office (just a hallway and a couple of doors separate us) we get to listen to some interesting sounds.

The Symphony Season is about to start, however, so he has had one of his fellow musicians (trombone) over the last couple of days so they can get back in the swing of things. So this week I have been treated to lovely low-brass concerts from two truly talented tooters! (I have a weakness for alliteration, sorry) Beautiful music makes me happy.

Yeah, I can just imagine the sounds coming from there because I was playing the sousaphone in the school band when I was a kid and I'm sure I drove my parents nuts the few times I actually practiced at home.
