Via ShinyShiny: A cell phone for kids that seems to have all the right features. I love the idea of being able to get a hold of the kiddies at all times, and their not having an excuse for not checking in. I do, however, have a problem with the absolute dependence I see on constant digital communication in some youngsters. It seems they would rather sit around and text message the kid next door than go outside and talk to her. The Tic Talk seems perfect for the pre-teen set - communication, with parental parameters.
