Dear Sen Kerry

Jeff Jarvis, a Kerry voter, gives him some advice this morning:

Please concede today.
[snip]
The best thing to do now so you don't look like an utter loser is to be the gentleman and the patriot first and help America move on.

The best thing for us to do is accept this victory with grace. I believe he was worthy of our faith in him, but to do the honest thing, we have to hold Bush (and the Republic congress) to the standards we attributed to him during this election process.

Yes, I agree. I'm glad to see that Kerry conceded without much hoopla, but if Bush thinks this is his chance to go crazy because now he's on easy street, he's got another thing coming. I want Bush to now do the things he promised us cause if he doesn't, DC is only about a 3 or 4 hour train ride from here...I'd hate to be known as a liberal protester and screw up my arrest record.

I'm waiting for the concession speech, but I'd expect a gracious concession from Kerry.

Bush has an acceptance speech planned for 4pm CST, I think.

Sage words for Senator Kerry. They were applicable when I lost the race for 7th grade class president and still hold true today. :)
