No Surprise

T.C.H.O.T.P. pointed me to a little political quiz, and this is how I faired.

ACCORDING TO YOUR ANSWERS,

The political description that fits you best is...LIBERTARIAN

LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 60%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 90%.

To which I say...yep.

I would say that the quiz, run on a Libertarian site, seems a bit skewed in its questions, for instance asking "Government should not censor speech, press, media or Internet", a statement I can't strongly agree or disagree with. Too general and that word "censor" too inflammatory. I certainly think I agree quite strongly with the Right (Conservative) line, and questions that were more specific may have put me there. Still interesting. They also have a list of Libertarian celebrities

I came up as "Centrist." For some reason, that seems like a bad thing...like I can't make up my mind or something. :)

When I was younger, I actually thought of myself as Libertarian. When I finally got around into inquiring about joining the party, I found out it was full of some really kooky people. That's why I'm Republican. :P

I agree that the questions are a bit skewed. The answeres to these questions are too complicated for simple yes or no type of responces.

Yeah, the whole legalized drugs thing (and other out there stuff) attracts some whackos.
