Both Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods had trouble putting on the first day of the 2010 US Open, taking place at the gorgeous Pebble Beach

In interviews, they each had a different take on the day

[paraphrasing]

Phil: “I just putted badly today”

Tiger: “The course is in bad shape. Those greens are awful”

Put me squarely on Team Phil.
