First off, the comment... yes, the media is in the pocket of the Democratic party... despite repeated studies showing that is simply not true. Apparently the Wizard thinks "the Left" is one monolithic block- it isn't. "The Left" doesn't even get along with themselves- it is the result of being antiauthoritarian.

And then there is the "we could win in Vietnam"... right. Let me put this bluntly- the only way we could have won is if we nuked the country till it glowed. The Chinese invaded after we left. They had a million man army, controlled the supply of weapons the Vietnamese were previously using, could ignore public opinion, etc. They lost.

Notice that they claim the war was to free women... even though Iraq was a secular dictatorship under Saddam. You know- the evil secularists? Most of the Left isn't against the war in Afghanistan- notice how the arguments are for withdrawing from Iraq?
