Record Setting

I am not a big fan of either San Diego or Indianapolis, but this sure was not the game I expected to see.
Peyton Manning set a new Colts record, throwing 6 interceptions in a single game. San Diego ran back two kicks for touchdowns. The Colts recovered a fumble in the end zone for a score. Vinatieri missed two field goals.
Unbelievably weird game.

It was an UNBELIEVABLE game! One of the most amazing I have seen. As a Charger fan, however:

* We sat on a 23-0 lead and allowed the Colts all the opportunity they needed to decimate us in the second half.

* We were INCREDIBLY lucky (not skillful) in acheiving a 23-21 win.

* Brent Musberger (sp?), at halftime, made it clear that even with a win against the Colts, the Chargers were NOT contenders in the season.

* IMHO, the Chargers are not playing consistant football. We have the talent but have not been using it to dominate as a 60 minute team.

Unbelievable is right.
* How can any team go scoreless in the second half and beat the Colts?
* How can Manning be #2 in the league for passing (328 yds), Reggie Wayne be #1 in receiving (140 yds) and the Colts lose?
* How can Manning, certainly one of the best QBs ever, throw 6 interceptions in one game?

Wow. Just - Wow.
