What Not To Eat

I have been wanting pizza the last few days, so I figured I would grab a couple of slices for lunch. I ran down the street to our local little joint, Pizza City. Or so I thought.

It is now "Melrose Cafe" or something like that. Not that I need to remember the name, I won't be going back.

Not only were the dollar slices tiny, (two slices were smaller than one from the old days) they sucked. Bad. Cardboardish.

The cashier was rude, as well. Right down to the end where he insisted on giving me my penny in change. When I said, "Oh, you don't have a penny cup?" he said, "No, those are tacky" voice dripping with all the condescension you imagined.

Does this remind anyone of that old joke?

"The food was terrible."

"Yes, and the portions were so small."

I noticed, and was complaining about, the small portion before I tasted it
