I am afraid that with my two kids there on the landing, it would be very hard for me to make that sacrifice / take that risk. He is now the "Hero Of Harlem":

I would have hopped off the tracks before the train rolled over me, that's for sure. If I couldn't have gotten the other guy off the tracks with me, I would have shoved him down into them and then gotten the hell out of the way (unless I could tell that there was sufficient clearance for me not to be killed).

That reminds me of a story, Woods. My sister wanted to implement this type of birthday party ("bring something to donate, not a present" party) and she wanted to start with the birthday for my then 5-year old nephew. I remember when she suggested this because it was one of the worst days she's had because she made her son cry. Quote from my nephew: When you say things like that it sounds like you don't love me. (That actually makes me laugh a little because it's going to make for a good family story.)
