Unexpected

My biggest gun safety fear since purchasing my new gun is that it will be stolen.

Not because it was expensive, it really wasn't bad.
Not because I love it, though I really do.

I just hate to think of some low life getting a hold of it.

I didn't have that fear with my old gun. So why now, I wonder?

Cuz there seems to be more "low life's" than ever before??? (That's the feeling I get whenever I read the paper or listen to the news)

I do know how you feel about your gun though. I have this adorable little pink pearl handled semi-automatic pistol that I love! (Although my husband won't let it in the house, as long as kids are here with us) My Dad had it inscribed with my name and then "Love, Dad" on it. So it may be sentimental reasons, for loving it. But I used to enjoy target practicing with it. I look forward to bringing it home one day...

Do you take yours target practicing, or do you go hunting?

I am certain that this does not pertain to your post but it was the first verse that came to mind when I read it (prompting my google research):

Happiness is a warm gun...

Just target shooting for me, 3T. I have no problem with hunting, but I couldn't do it. I also don't think I am a good enough shot and I would HATE to just wound an animal and have it suffering and/or dying slowly. Awful!

Ben Avery has a womens club that meets every other Thursday for practice and classes, etc. It's free and I keep meaning to check it out.
