It looks like we are looking at October 7th to get together, speak up if we need to reconsider the date.
Suggestions for venue so far are:
To the four or five of you who actually read this blog, please tell the other AZ bloggers you know about this. I would love to have a bigger turnout than my readership alone will get me.
Oh yeah, and you out of staters are welcome, too - come on over.
ANOTHER UPDATE: Macker gave us a shout out on his radio show tonight, over at Wide Awakes Radio Thanks Macker, it was fun listening to your views instead of just reading them. I have to give you the big thumbs up, too, for pronouncing my last name correctly...you wouldn't believe how that has been butchered most of my life (there was a decade there that I had a married name that got butchered)
Posted by Vox at September 2, 2006 08:57 AM | TrackBack | AZ bloggersI was just thinking about this. I have a couple suggestions that have patios: Duck and Decanter at 18th St. and Camelback; Sam's Cafe at Arizona Center.
I thought about Cibo House at 5th Ave. and Fillmore, but it gets crowded when the weather is nice. I still wanted to plug it just in case anyone has a date and needs a place to go. Here's a review:

You're going to get a blurb on my radio show this evening. Listen from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM Saturday, September 2nd. It'll be in the fourth segment, starting at approximately 6:45 PM. It's at Wide Awakes Radio!
Posted by: Macker at September 2, 2006 10:20 AMIs the Arizona Center suffering from the same construction related traffic woes as the rest of downtown?
I like Duck & Decanter, though no G&Ts for SAJU....
;-)
Cool, Macker - it'll be like my 15 seconds of fame (things go faster nowadays)
Posted by: Vox at September 2, 2006 11:43 AMI'm putting the date on the calendar. I would appreciate some place not too smoky and easy access for my power wheelchair!
Posted by: Karen of Scottsdale at September 2, 2006 12:03 PMIt's not too bad getting to AZ Center, as long as you don't drive down Central to get there.
I'm off to Flagstaff. Have a great weekend!

Mike
Ooh, sorry - I thought that was a different restaurant. I'll fix it
Posted by: Vox at September 2, 2006 02:30 PMThe beergeek in me always enjoys Sonoran, but I'll be happy with where ever the group decides.
Posted by: Thomas at September 3, 2006 01:37 PMWhat does the Spaghetti Company have to recommend it? I've never been there.
Posted by: Special Agent Johnny Utah at September 3, 2006 08:24 PMSpaghetti Company: Great food, good bar, friendly service, group accommodations, central Phoenix location....
Then again, I am partial to pasta :-)
