Idiots On Parade

In yet more stupid celebrity news, country singer Troy Gentry pays big bucks to shoot Cubby, a tame bear in an enclosure, and pretends he is a big game hunter. He then claims to be completely unaware he did anything wrong, despite slapping fake tags on the dead animal. Because he is a celebrity, I doubt he will see any jail time, though, if this charge is true, I certainly think he should (and I really like a lot of Montgomery Gentry's music).

For the record, I have no problem with hunting. There are, however, many reasons for the laws that are in place - and stopping moronic behavior is one of them.
