Oh my god. I hadn't even heard of this story. This is absolutly frightening.

I can't even imagine the mindset of such a person. I wonder if they'll blame the father like the did when Andrea Yates drowned her 7 children?

Yes, but part of their questioning of the father is why he called the daycare to have them call and check in on his wife. Why didn't he do it? Regardless, this story is so heartwrenching.

Perhaps he had been calling and wasn't able to get through and the daycare center was closer to the house than he was.

Or, maybe the baby was supposed to be there so when he called to check if she was there and they said no - that's when the alarm went of so he asked them to check.

Or, having dealt with CPS previously, he was afraid to involve the police.

So unbelievably tragic.
