From This Is Broken come two interesting stories:

First, an artist who proves that academic excellence is secondary to "intent", even when it comes to a library.

Second, the Michigan absentee ballot - which makes it impossible to intentionally vote for Bush/Cheney, but will cast your vote for them if you try to vote for Kerry/Edwards. There better be a solution brewing now.

Nice. I also noticed if I wanted to vote a straight party ticket for the Republicans, it would appear as though I'd be casting my vote for Abraham Lincoln.

That's true - not that a vote for Lincoln would be bad. He certainly knew how to manage a war, and the country in general.

A man from the mid 19th century would be a better choice to lead the country today than Kerry - who is woefully out of touch with the currently reality.

and bush isn't?

Nope - he is well aware of the world around him.

But then, he has actually had to live in it his whole life.
