Don't go bettin' against my Texans, pardner. Them's fightin' words.
Posted by: Michael at September 12, 2004 11:23 AMI told ya' I pick for stupid reasons (like, I still hate Denver from the Elway years because he played for Stanford - and they had that game against Cal) Of course, now I can hate them for a QB that really sucks - that we were glad to be rid of - Jake Plummer.
As for the SD/HOU game, that was a toss up. I hate the Cowboys, but I like the Texans. I was just feeling beach-y this morning. Next week they play Detroit so I will be squarely in your corner.
Besides, as you may have noticed, my system ain't very successful.
Posted by: Vox at September 12, 2004 08:49 PMthe four you guessed were dead-on with the score.
Posted by: broken at September 12, 2004 09:57 PMoh, wait, i'm an idiot, you just posted teh scores. i'll go back to my mindless rants.
Posted by: broken at September 12, 2004 10:00 PMI was going to be indignant this morning that you bet against the Texans and made them lose...
... but hey, you did take off your shirt. That counts for something.
Posted by: Michael at September 13, 2004 06:22 AMHey Elway is a god of football, there is no denying that!! And Plumber was bad because he had a bad team, he is still retarded but his skill is under there somewhere and it comes out sometimes.
