Should I Switch?

I have been seeing the mass exodus from MovableType (and others) to Wordpress.

I am sick of the long rebuild times with MT.

Many of the blogs I read regularly, written by people I respect, are making the switch.

Should I jump on the band wagon?

I'm too new to be giving advice about MT, but I've decided that blogger.com that I'm using now is not developing like Wordpress, nor are the developers nearly as active. I'd fear that with the new commercialization of MT, people are looking for an alternative. I looked at blogger.com, MT, ExpressionEnginer, and Wordpress and I'll be switching to Wordpress this weekend as soon as I have the template ready.

I don't regret my move to WordPress at all. The ease, the speed and the support are amazing.

I'd say yea :)
