The Command Post gives us suggestions on some other ways to help the effort in Iraq, and those who are in the trenches there.

I am the moderator for civiliansinraq. I just would like to add that the locals there (Iraqis) have needs as well and the efforts of our group and other contributors will help meet those needs. I am happy to say that there have been an great number of responses to my post on command post and I have setup a paypal account and will provide a mailing address for those who wish to send donations.
